O’pn Close Systems installed a new motor for our sliding gate on 14/07/2025, Guil did the installation. I have been a registered builder for 40 yrs and believe I’m suitably qualified to present my opinion for this installation. Guil is a real professional and tradesman, and comes well presented with his set-up something hard to find these days. He did an excellent job and is a pleasure to deal with I have no hesitation in recommending Op’n Close Systems if you are looking for a professional company. My automated sliding gate would not fully open today and I was unable to drive my car out. A friend recommended Gill and he was able to change his work schedule and come. He identified the problem immediately, replaced the part and then tested all the other areas of the motor to be sure they were fully functional. He even blew away all the cobwebs and dirt around the unit before replacing the housing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gill. He was friendly, worked efficiently, and clearly is an expert in his field.

I have nothing but the highest regard for Guillaume as a person and skilled technician in installing a rather complicated dual automatic swing gate system to our Mount Lawley property. The system required Guillaume to set in place twin motors and rams, a REMOOT103 smart gate controller, code pad, break beams, connect it all together, with the control system paired to our wifi and smart phones. The degree of difficulty was compounded by having to run control cables under existing brick paving without lifting the paving, and in placing the master control system under cover remotely from the gates. At all times Guillaume was pleasant, politely spoken, clean and tidy in his work habits and took extra time to ensure my wife and I understood how it all worked. I highly recommend Guillaume and his company to any prospective company or person who require first quality, best workmanship automatic gate control.

5 Stars all round – I can’t add to anything that previous reviews have already said so I’ll just endorse that Guillaume was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, had all the tools, cleaned up after himself and was able to attend to our sticking swing gate when our regular guy couldn’t… We will definitely use and recommend Op’nClose for any gate related issues as our gate is now smoother and quieter than it has ever seen.

I am so happy with the work completed to my existing gate which I required to be automated. So many larger organisations said it couldn’t be done, and wanted to sell me a whole new gate with a different set up. The area was a tight fit, but Guil managed to instal a perfect solution and worked quickly to complete the job to a high a standard. I would 100% recommend O’PN Close Solutions to anyone. Op’n close system we’re great to deal with, they attended our breakdown super quick, fixed the problem and left the site nice and tidy… to avoid having bad surprises we even started on their regular maintenance program. Would strongly recommend.

Gil was obviously very knowledgeable about our gate which is about 6m long and was vibrating when opening and closing, we were concerned it may do further damage. He arrived when he said he would, was lovely to communicate with and had all the gear to fix it on the spot. He explained what was wrong and how he planned to fix it, and fixed it in the one visit. It’s always hard to know if a tradie will be honest and capable. Guil from Op’n Close was super efficient, punctual, polite and gave me a fair price. He fixed my King Gate for a lot cheaper than I thought it would cost. Call out fee was cheaper than other companies that I spoke with. Highly recommend!!

Great property service, called in the morning with an issue at a rental property of an electric gate randomly opening. Guil was able to attend that afternoon, he found same damaged components that he was able to replace then and there, had it all back up and running in about an hour.

From start to installation Guil was professional and very knowledgeable. Answered all my queries and doubts. Very reasonably priced and kept to his word. Went ahead with installation despite it being a very hot summer day. Work was organised, efficient and neat. Highly recommended
