Terms of Service

These terms set out the basis on which Op’n Close Systems provides quotes, installation, repair and maintenance services. By engaging us, you agree to them. They are written plainly on purpose.

Quotes and pricing

For a new gate we talk the job through on the phone, then book a site visit, and you get a quote within five business days of that visit. The quote sets out the gate, motor, controller, safety hardware and access devices, along with the labour to install them. Variations requested after the quote are priced and agreed before any new work begins.

Bookings and deposits

For new gate installations and custom fabrication, a deposit of 50 per cent is payable when you accept the quote. That is what starts fabrication. The balance is due once the installation is complete. Lead times quoted are estimates made in good faith and can shift with supplier timing.

Workmanship and warranty

• Our workmanship is warranted for 24 months from completion
• Motors and controllers carry the full manufacturer warranty, and we cover electronic faults that are manufacturer problems
• The warranty covers installation faults directly linked to our workmanship, for example a motor working loose or a loose connection. It does not cover storm or weather damage such as wind or water ingress, insect infestation, corrosion, misuse, accidents or unauthorised modifications

Repairs and call-outs

A call-out fee covers travel and on-site diagnosis, and we tell you what it is over the phone before we book anything in. Minor repairs are usually fixed on the spot. Parts are quoted before fitting, never after.

Liability

We carry public liability insurance to $10 million, and a certificate of currency is available on request. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the affected work. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
